THE WAY OF JESUS Come to the Table Mark 2:13–17
What kind of people does Jesus call?
In this powerful passage, Jesus approaches Levi—a despised tax collector—and invites him to become a disciple. While others saw a sinner, a traitor, and an outcast, Jesus saw someone worth saving. Levi's life is transformed by a simple invitation:
"Follow Me."
As Jesus sits at a table surrounded by tax collectors and sinners, He reveals the heart of His mission. He did not come for those who think they have it all together. He came for the broken, the weary, the guilty, and the lost.
Join us as we discover that God's grace is greater than our past, that Jesus specializes in calling ordinary people to extraordinary purposes, and that there is still room at His table for anyone willing to come.
Key Truth:
Grace meets people where they are, but never leaves them where they are.
